Micro Dramas (Part 1)

During August a number of new Year 7 pupils attended summer school at Darrick Wood and engaged in a series of creative activities. DWS Audio asked them to write and record their own micro audio dramas. Over 50 plays were recorded across two days and you can listen to the first five here!

MICRO DRAMA AWARD

DWS Audio is delighted to announce that it was placed third in the micro drama category at the 2021 UK International Audio Drama Festival. ‘Maths Problem’, written by Year 8 student Rosina Staggs, was recorded by a group of professional actors and showcased on the last day of the Festival in March. Congratulations to Rosina for writing a terrific script. The winning entries were announced on Friday 21st May and you can listen again to Rosina’s audio play here.
