DWS Audio is delighted to learn that one of our audio plays has been selected for this year’s UK International Audio Drama Festival. ‘The Perfect Christmas Present’, written and produced by George Norris and James Monaghan will be showcased at the Festival in Canterbury on Friday 29th March.

Harry Way, in Year 10, represented Darrick Wood School at this year’s Jack Petchey Speak Out Competition with his speech, entitled ‘The Floor’. He has recorded an audio version of his inspiring speech, which you can listen to here.

This week the work of our fabulous pupils once again featured on Leo Ulph’s BBC Upload show, which now reaches an audience across the south of England.
‘A Fruitful Murder ‘ was written and performed by Catherine Hayes and Amber Ranaldi, and also featured Lilly Bennett and Olivia Stanton.
